About ME
Igniting the spark
My first step on my professional journey into learning and development started with an internship at Impact International. There, I witnessed the power of upskilling and developing human potential within organizations.
From there I worked my way to becoming a Facilitator, where I found immense joy in helping others grow and make meaningful changes in their personal and professional lives. This firsthand experience creating personalized learning experiences that truly connect with learners gave me the skills I needed to dive into the world of ID. Working as an instructional designer I now merge my creativity, experience, and passion, to bring about meaningful change.
What Drives Me
What excites me most about instructional design is the opportunity to rekindle adults’ passion for learning. In our busy professional lives, we often encounter an overwhelming amount of information, yet little of it leaves a lasting impression. My goal is to change this by creating engaging and practical learning experiences that transform how learners approach their work and life.
My Approach
I prioritize creating learning experiences that are both enjoyable and effective. Too often, training programs inundate learners with theory without actionable takeaways. I use design thinking to ensure my courses are customized to meet the specific needs of learners and the necessities of clients. By understanding the learner’s context and challenges, I design content that is relevant, practical, and impactful.
Beyond Work
Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and children. Watching my kids explore the world with such passion and excitement inspires me to instill that same spark for learning in my courses. My family time enriches my personal life and fuels my professional creativity, providing fresh perspectives and innovative ideas for my instructional design projects.
